I'm bored. Actually I'm more than bored, I'm bored out of my mind. This movie is, I don't know what it is, it's just so, so bad. But Mulder seems to enjoy watching it and so I won't say a word. I sipped my beer and ate the butterless popcorn and just tried to enjoy being with him. We spend way too less time together, out of work, even after we crossed that line and took our relationship to a new level, after I've seen Daniel again But as much as I love Mulder and as much as I love spending time with him I just can't stand this movie. I didn't even want to watch Steel Magnolia but Caddyshack???
"Mulder, this movie is even worse than I thought."
"Oh, come on Scully, I can't believe you don't like it, you are really no fun."
"Mulder this movie isn't fun either, and if it gets only a little worse, I might cry."
"It's a classic."
"Fine...it's a classic but can we please shut it off?"
"Sculleeeeee...", he whines and looks at me with those puppy dog eyes.
"Ok, I'm going to finish watching it with you but if any permanent damage is done to my brain it's all your fault and you'll explain to my mother why I can't eat by myself anymore."
"Deal. And I would even feed you."
"That's so kind of you."
So Mulder is happy, one out of two, actually not bad, but I promise he would pay big time for making me watch this crap. But, well not now. I can't stand watching the movie so I have to entertain myself otherwise and I'm feeling rather silly so...
"Hey...Scully what was that?"
"I guess that was a kernel of popcorn."
"I *do* know *that*. But why did it fly at my head?" "
"My guess would be, because I threw it at your head and it couldn't walk...but I'm anxious to hear your theory."
"Well, G-woman my theory is you don't want to watch this movie."
"Well Mulder, now I understand why they think you're brilliant."
I'm going crazy...he's watching at the TV again. I'm going to shoot him again. No, that wouldn't solve the problem. Ah, he's laying his arm around me, that's much better. So I'm going to make the best out of this and snuggle into his side. And I'm actually able to concentrate on the movie and the last scene was really too stupid and I chuckeled I just hope he didn't realize it.
"Scully?"
"Yeah?"
"What was that?"
"What was what?"
"Dana, you giggled."
"No I didn't."
"Well yes you did. You like the movie."
"Well maybe and only maybe I giggled but I definitly do not like this movie." "Yes you do."
"No I don't."
"Ok if you say it."
I know he doesn't believe me and he's grinning like the Chesire cat but the worst is I don't like the movie indeed. He's making me crazy...now he's staring at me. I can't actually see it but I know he does.
"Mulder stop it."
"Stop what?"
"Stop staring at me."
"I'm going to open an X-file on you, how the hell do you always know when I'm looking at you."
"Maybe I'm telepathic."
After five hours or minutes, I don't really know and I don't care, more of this movie I'm yawning rather loudly.
"Dana?" I look up and gaze into his hazel eyes. He puts his hand behind my neck and pulls me up into a kiss.
"Let's go to bed.", he says and I have to admit that's a really good idea for a change.
